The CDC has released the latest data from the National Vital Statistics System. Life Expectancy for the U.S. population in 2021 was 76.4 years. This represents a decrease of 0.6 years from 2020.
Covid-19 remained in the top 3 leading causes of death. Covid-19 deaths were higher in 2021 than they were in 2020.
